President's Welcome
On behalf of the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) Silicon Valley Professionals Chapter, I invite you join our organization! NSBE Professionals organization is dedicated to positively impacting lives by leveraging a global community that empowers members to grow technically, access influential leadership, advance careers and inspire the next generation of Black technical professionals.
In an effort to fulfill our mission, Silicon Valley Professional Chapter has developed many programs for the academic, professional and cultural advancement of our members. The chapter is composed of technical professional members and offers benefits such as professional training, leadership development, mentoring, employment opportunities and community outreach. Additionally, it serves working engineers through a wide range of programs and events, such as technical- and leadership-focused webinars, executive mentoring and attending the annual Professional Development Conference with the chapter. Members who have expertise in specific areas, such as energy, the environment or space, have the opportunity to join one of nine Special Interest Groups (SIGs) on the national level.
Our partners and members hold an important place in NSBE SV PRO, enabling us to continue to create and implement our programs. Through your involvement with the chapter, and your support, you will gain access and connections to some of the best and brightest engineers and leaders Silicon Valley has to offer, and you will help ensure the fulfillment of NSBE's mission.
On behalf of the NSBE Silicon Valley Professionals Chapter, I thank you for your interest in our organization. We look forward to having you as a member and/our partner!
